More from one of Puerto Rico’s finest. Eddie Gomez is another one of the greats and has featured in bands led by two of the world’s greatest Jazz piano players; Chick Corea and Bill Evans. This is a complete performance of ‘The One Step, another tune from the 1978 Chick Corea album ‘Friends’. It’s all in there; a bass led melody, a groovy two feel and some double time walking. It’s not as touch to play as it is to read so watch carefully. Lots of stuff up in the Gods (I never know when to go 8va).
