Renaud Garcia-Fons – Bass

This is actually an arco line from the French bass player Renaud Garcia Fons and features the first 2:16 of the title tune of his 2009 album. I stopped there because his arco solo which starts soon after is, frankly, beyond me. This can be played pizz on a double bass or electric and it is important to remember that there pieces are presented for reading practice rather than as an aid to performance so there is some stuff to learn here. The ledger lines go crazy a couple of times but I left them in there rather than 8va-ing them. I have been looking at some proper classical etudes lately and there are so many different approaches including 8va, tenor clef and treble clef. It is playable.
