Rubén Rodriguez – Bass

Another Latin tune from the Steve Khan catalogue, this is a partial transcription of the tune ‘Huracan Clare’ from the 2019 Steve Khan album, ‘Patchwork (Medio Mezclado)’. Fairly traditional Latin lines so a great one for getting your head around the genre if you are no familiar with it. The bass player is Rubén Rodriguez who has featured on many Khan albums over recent years. I did the transcription as far as the percussion solo but, when I listened to the rest, it was pretty much more of the same so it didn’t feel like a particularly useful enterprise in terms of cost/benefit enterprise.
