Acknowledgement, Resolution, Puruance and Psalm from A Love Supreme – John Coltrane. This is a transcription of the saxophone parts for the whole LP (not Jimmy Garrison’s  bass parts) but transcribed in bass clef. The piece is a four par ‘suite’ so we have presented it in four parts. A lot of the performance is unplayable on the bass (by mere mortals, any way) so the transcription is for study rather than for learning to play. Maybe there are some phrases or licks you can use?
