Head only – Marcus Belgrave/Kenny Garrett

Just a blues head from the 1991 Geri Allen album, ‘The Nurturer’, this is a tricksy little head from trumpeter Marcus Belgrave with a lovely ‘Coltrane’ turnaround at the end. A nice tune and a challenge to read as it never goes where you expect it to.
