Bass Player: Jerry Duplessis

Duplessis has a massive presence as a producer and bass player across a range of genres and has has been involved in providing music for some fairly high profile movies like ‘The Mancurian Candidate’, ‘Hotel Rwanda’ and ‘Love Actuall’. He has worked with Melissa Etheridge, Whitney Houston, Ne-Yo, LL Cool J, Jennifer Hudson, Estelle,  Mary J. Blige,  Musiq Soulchild, Shakira, Wyclef John, Destiny’s Child, Lionel Ritchie, and Tom Jones but it is his simple, rooted bass line for the Fugees’ version of ‘Killing Me Softly’ from the album 1996 ‘The Score’ that features in the attached transcription.
