Hans Glawischnig – Bass

I have done a few transcription of HG performances but, like a few other players, most of his tuff is so difficult to play and to hear that I am only able to manage his ‘easy’ tunes. Glawischnig is Miguel Zenon’s first call bass player so he is on a lot of Zenon’s stuff but Zenon’s compositions are often incredibly sophisticated and impossible to play (I have some transcriptions of his compositions that evidences how complex they are and I STILL can’t play them.

This is one of the ‘easy’ tunes of Zenon’s 2019 album, ‘Sonero: The Music Of Ismael Rivera’. Recommended listening. There is an arco section in the middle that is the same thing repeated 4 times but it is hard to see where it sits in the pulse so please treat it with the contempt it deserves!
