Casino – Al Di Meola

Bass Player: Anthony Jackson

King of the Big Six, Anthony Jackson was Al Di Meola’s first call bass player for a long time in the 1970s and 80s and it was during this era that Jackson played on several of the guitarist’s classic albums. One of the strongest of these was the 1978 album, ‘Casino’ which also included the tunes ‘Egyptian Danza’ and ‘Chasin’ The Voodoo’, both of which are transcribed on this website. This is the title track of the record and it features some stunning playing from Jackson alongside drummer Steve Gadd.
