Marc Johnson – Bass

I rediscovered this album this week when going through old downloads. I hadn’t heard it for a while but I love the sound of this band. Frisell comping behind Scofield is a sound that nothing else compares to. The challenge from this chart is the slowness of the tempo. It moves so slowly, it is hard to get it to sit right. The band do it beautifully. The tune is from the Second Sight album (1987). Very easy to read in terms of dots but challenging to get it to work.
