Christian McBride – Bass

A simple performance on the melody of the tune “Where Are You?“, a popular song composed by Jimmy McHugh and Harold Adamson. The song was written for the 1937 film ‘Top Of The Town’ but has become a Jazz standard that has been recorded by everyone. It is simple enough and played arco by McBride on his ‘Kind Of Brown’ album from 2009. There are a couple of chromatic pull-offs that I am not sure about but you can ignore them or find your own way to phrase them. I did thins one because I am working on my arco playing and think the tune is pretty.
