Bass Player: Andy West

Andy West is what happens when kids go to school with other kids who are monster musicians. West met Dregs guitarist Steve Morse in High School. What are the chances of that?

The transcription is the title track from the 1978 Dregs album, ‘What If’, the album which features their most well known tune, ‘Take It Off The Top’. It is not too taxing due, in the main, to the relatively slow tempo but there are some tricky rhythms that West uses to move from root note to root note.
