Jeff berlin – Bass

Another one of the Jeff berlin parts from a Kazumi Watanabe tune, this one from the 2013 ‘Spinning Globe’ album that featured Virgil Donati on drums. It is a really strange piece with some odd stuff happening but there isn’t much in the way of shredding so you are in with a chance. That main riff is a tough read but it repeats so you have a few cracks at it but the weirdest bit is the bar of triplets that destabilises the groove (intentionally). Great ideas. The tune us called ‘The User’.
