Nick Beggs – Bass

Just working my way through the Steven Wilson masterpiece, ‘The Raven That Refused To Sing (And Other Stories). This is a shorter (5 minute) track ‘The Pin Drop’/ The chart is not microscopically accurate as there are subtle differences in the phrasing of many of the triplets that he utilises throughout most of the piece – you can play almost any (or even all) of the triplet configurations anywhere on the chart and it won’t make a massive difference to the end result. I think I have got the correct octaves though despite the tone of the bass creating some level of ambiguity at times. Anyway, the chart will get you through the piece.
