Bass Player: Martin Briley

Another track from the Greenslade ‘Time And Tide’ album, this one a slightly more sophisticated shuffle called ‘The Flattery Stakes. Martin Briley. A name that is not that well known to most of us but Briley’s WIkipedia pages suggests that he has played and recorded with Meatloaf, Julian Lennon, Bonnie Tyler, The Modern Jazz Quartet, Lulu, Donna Summer, Cliff Richard, The Hollies and Tom Jones amongst others. He has also received orchestral commissions and has written songs for Celine Dion, Michael Bolton, Kenny Loggins, Pat Benatar, Gregg Allman, Night Ranger and Barry Manilow. Busy boy!
