Stefano Cerri – Bass

I have enjoyed this album since purchasing the vinyl the year it came out. It was always a little confusing who the bass players were on each track as the credits listed Cerri alongside Jack Bruce and John Giblin. I am pretty confident that this is Cerri, however, as the other two are not known for slapping. As I have said on here before, I hate transcribing slap bass and have to say that I was not as aware as I should have been that there was a lot of old school clapping on this track but, having started it, I had to finish (it’s an OCD thing, probably).

This is the track Surrender from the 1982 Jon Anderson album ‘Animation’. A wonderful record.
