Bass Player: Paul Chambers

Paul Chambers had a relatively brief career by the standards of his peers and was only effectively operational between 1955 and his death in January 1969. Despite this, he appeared on something in the region of 300 albums by everyone from Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Sonny Rollins, Red Garland, Herbie Hancock, Art Blakey and a cast of thousands.
