Bass Player: Jeff Berlin

A lovely ballad from the 1997 Jeff Berlin album, ‘Taking Notes’, this is a full transcription of the tune ‘Sean En La Madrugada’ (Sean in the morning? We understand that Sean is one of Jeff’s children). The performance uses the entirity of the neck so is way up in the Gods in terms of ledger lines. Bilbo is saying that he will re-write the chart using 8va indicators to make it more readable. It is also important to note that there is an second, overdubbed bass solo towards the end of the tune which is missing from the chart as it only covers the lower bass part at this stage. A transcrtiption of the second solo will follow imminently.
