Bass Player: Ronaldo Saggiorato

Bassist, composer and arranger Ronaldo Saggiorato was born in Passo Fundo, Rio Grande do Sul. With a solid career, respected inside and outside Brazil (he lived between Brazil and Europe more than ten years), he participated in projects and recordings alongside the likes of Renato Borguetti, Alegre Corrêa, Vitor Ramil, Mohamed mounir, Sandra Pires, Elias Meiri, Timna Brauer, Wolfgang Multhspiel, Fernando Paiva, Pedro Tagliani, Izabel Padovani, Almir Cortes, among others.

Latin in 5:4. 😎 This is the bass part to the Alegre Correa Sextett version of ‘Quinta Da Pontal’ from his album ‘Negra Coracao’. The version posted here is not the version I have transcribed which is available on Spotify but not  YouTube. This bass player on this version is Eduardo Machato. I posted this so you could hear the main ostinato that the whole tune is built around.
