A partial transcription (I am still trying to figure out how to transcribe his more intense arco stuff), this is the intro to the opening track of his 1997 album, ‘Oriental Bass’. There are a couple of moments where I can’t hear the details so I have relied upon the second time around the head and used the accordion as a steer. The double stops are the solo starts are fantastic but I am not sure if I have the octave right! Garcia-Fons plays a 5-string with a high C so it is perfect possible for him to play them an octave higher but | don’t think so.
