Bass Player: Colin Bass

This chart was a special request and represents Colin Bass’s bass part for the tune ‘Long Goodbyes’ from the Camel DVD ‘Live at the Royal Albert Hall’ recorded in 2018. The live version (which was specifically requested) features the line-up fronted by Prog wunderkind ‘Pete Jones’ (vocals, sax, keys) alongside Camel stalwarts Andy Latimer (gtr, vocals, flute), Colin Bass (bass, vocs) and David Clement (dr). The YouTube video attached to this post is the version of the tune as it appeared on the original ‘Stationary Traveller’ album because the live DVD is not available as a YouTube video or Spotify file.

A lovely tune, the bass part is solid but undemanding; a relatively easy read.
