Bass Player: Geddy Lee

Rush occasionally chose to present the odd instrumental tune on their records and many of these have become staples of the live set; La Villa Strangiato and YYZ are probably the tunes that are most well known. The tune ‘Leave That Thing Alone’ is a bass driven grunge fest that featured on the 1993 album, ‘Counterparts’. This one presented some challenges in that some of the lower notes are really difficult to discern along with the fact that the band used to detune some things just to confuse everyone. Some challenging passages but nothing like the YYZ breaks to trip you up.
