Just Like A Woman – Bill Frisell

Kermit Driscoll – Bass

Every time I listen to the Bill Frisell bands from this era, I am enthralled by Driscoll’s bass playing. I find his sound so distinctive and the way it fits into the ensemble sound is just perfect. His note choices are exquisite and the musicality of his playing offers a lesson every time you listen to him play. The 1992 Frisell album ‘Have A Little Faith’ showcases Frisell’s approach to arranging on a variety of tunes from Madonna to Copland, Sonny Rollins to Sousa marches. This is a compelte Driscoll performance on the Bob Dylan tune ‘Just Like A Woman’
