Bass Player: Not Known

Is this a double bass or a VST? The bass player on the rest of the 2000 Kirsty MacColl ‘Tropical Brainstorm’ album is Chucho Merchan whose impressive CV includes Nucleus, Eurythmics, The Pretenders, Thomas Dolby, David Gilmour and many more but the album credits are silent on the bass player on the track ‘In These Shoes’. The bass part is simple and easy to read but could easily be a VST rather than a human being. The track is a bit of fun featuring the late MacColl’s dry sense of humour.
