Delbert Felix – Bass

I don’t know much about this guy and couldn’t find a great deal online but I do know he played with Branford Marsalis on the saxophonist’s 1988 album, ‘Random Abstract’ album. This tune is from that recording and the transcription is the full Felix bass part including his short solo. Some tasty triplets in there but, mostly, it is readable. For reasons I cannot fathom, the recording I used for the transcription is slightly off concert pitch and there are a couple of notes I either can’t hear or are ambiguous so you may hear the odd note differently to me but that’s ok; this is for practicing reading not for a live performance.
