Anthony Jackson – Contrabasse Guitar

I tried… I failed. I got about 50 bars in but it got to intense to write any more down – too much bubbling below the E string and it would have taken the rest of my rapidly shortening life to get the whole thing down so I thought I would publish what I have and leave it to a younger man to finish….

This is the bass part for the first 50 odd bars of ‘At One’ from the 1994 Michel Camilo album, ‘Rendezvous’ which is French for ‘Rendezvous’. Fun if you want to have a crack at it – it is in 5:4 so an interesting challenge.
