So, having evidenced his right to be on here, we move to the transcription. This is Katz’s complete bass part for the tune ‘A Long Time Ago’ from the 1986 Bob Mintzer Big Band recording ‘Camoflage’. Some really great big band writing from saxophonist Montzer but brought to life by Katz’s sound and feel.
