Renaud Garcia-Fons – Bass

Another from the greatest export from France since Brie. This is one of those pieces that jumps back and forth between pizzicato and arco players. I wouldn’t worry too much about the swap over because you probably won’t be able to play either part! That’s actually not true but I suspect there are few of us that will be ablt read this cols and at tempo but it is worth studying. I believe that this is the first time I have used a 15va sign but I may be wrong. It works as well at 8va if your bass doesn’t go as high as a 5-string strung with a high C but that it is in unison with the accordion on the original performance.
