Complete bass performance by Geddy Lee of the whipping boy of their back catalogue ‘The Necromancer’ from the 1975 Rush album, ‘Caress of Steel’. It was the dawn of the Punk era and Peart comes up with this bit of nonsense (to be fair, Punk was still underground in the U.K. so it was a while before Canada would succumb to it’s lure). The lyrical concepts have not dated particularly well and are the butt of many a music journalist’s ire but the music is the music.
